The wear of the supporting rollers of the leveling machine is one of the common problems in steel rolling production. To reduce the wear of the support rollers, the following measures can be taken:
(1) Select appropriate leveling lubricants and leveling process parameters to reduce friction and wear;
(2) Control the vibration of the work roll and support roll to reduce vibration patterns;
(3) Control the roll changing cycle and prevent the generation of vibration patterns in advance;
(4) Regularly replace the rollers and support rollers to ensure equipment accuracy;
(5) Regular maintenance is required to ensure the parallelism and levelness of the unwinding, coiling, rolling, anti wrinkle, and anti vibration rollers;
(6) Optimize the roll configuration of the four roll CVC leveling machine, and the improved roll configuration performs well in enhancing the control capability of the plate shape and the self preservation of the roll shape;
(7) By combining the characteristics of CVC support rollers and VCR support rollers, a new support roller shape is designed, which effectively improves the distribution of contact pressure between rollers, enhances the stiffness of roller gaps, and makes the control of strip steel cross-section more stable.
